ABSTRACT
 Purpose: The study aims to determine the effect of clinical practice on nursing students’ professional competencies.
 Material and Methods: This is a quasi-experimental with one-group pretest-posttest design. Its population consisted 375 second-, third- fourth-year students who had completed at least one year education faculty where was conducted. No sampling done, 265 agreed participate. data were collected using an introductory information form Competency Inventory Nursing Students (CINS). pre-test in second week when started their practice, post-test twelfth near end practice.
